Nancy Walser, Cambridge School Committee | ||
To all my supporters,Thank you so much for all the confidence you have shown in me during my tenure on School Committee from 2000-2007. We have done some great things together for public education and our students.Although I am not a candidate in this year's election, I am supporting three new talented and enthusiastic candidates for School Committee (in alphabetical order): Gail Lemily Wiggins, Stefan Malner and Nancy Tauber. Read more about them at www.progressforcambridge.blogspot.com. I urge you to give them your #1, #2 and #3 votes, in the order of your own preference, on Tuesday, November 6. Since I am no longer a candidate for School Committee, I am retiring my campaign website at this address. However, as a CPS parent and education writer, I will continue to write about CPS and other education issues on my blog at nancywalser.blogspot.com. For those of you looking for my "Parent's Guide to Cambridge Schools" -- the book is now long out-of-print. However, I'm happy to report that since I first wrote my guide in 1997, the school department has developed an assortment of online resources for individual schools as well as a complete online booklet called "Schools at a Glance." Go to www.cpsd.us for lots of other information about CPS and its individual schools. Thank you for your support of our public schools. | ![]() |
